A weekend at the snow

My brother David, was keen to go to the snow this year so I agreed to go with him. Thanks to Alex/Andrew for providing some cheap accommodation in Jinabyne. We drove down on Thursday night so we could board Friday, Saturday and Sunday then drive back Sunday night. On Friday David and I just boarded by ourselves, getting back into it because it has been about 2 years since boarding for David and about 1 year for me.

Below is a shot of Jindabyne lake just down from where we were staying.

On Saturday I managed to pick up a "Burton Zoom Pack" from "First Tracks" in Jindabyne. It cost me $199 and they are quite hard to get. I took that bag with camera up the mountain for half the day but never took any pictures.

On Sunday I rode with my new bag and camera for the whole day this time getting the pictures below. I took pictures of David and he took some pictures of me.

Unfortunately on my last run of the park on Sunday I fell backwards off the box right onto my new bag with my camera in it. So my poor 18-55mm lens copped it and now I cant us it, but I'm glad it was the lens that broke and not the camera.
