Trip to Citigate Mount Panorama

On Tuesday i drove out to the hotel Citigate Mount Panorama in Bathurst which is about 200 kilometres away from where i live.

New Years Fireworks 2006

I went to Cremorne Point with some friends to watch and shoot the NYE fireworks. I thought they were very average this year, but I'm not sure if this is because I was busy taking pictures or if they actually sucked.... Anyway it was my first time and it shows, I wasn't overly impressed with what turned out, so hopefully next time I will get better shots.

Well its been a while since I have put anything up on here so I thought it was about time. The first picture is of my brothers cat, the others are of a sunset taken near my place.

Manly - 07-11-06

So David, a friend, sends me a message on Monday night at 11pm, waking me up from my peaceful beauty sleep asking if I wanted to go surfing with him the next day and if I could bring the Mal for Andrew his bro. I messaged back saying "Sure, meet you at Manly at 7am". Tuesday comes around and I start the drive from Frenchs Forest to Manly to get the Mal, only to receive a message from David saying that he wouldn't be able to make it till 8am, so I go for a quick snooze at my place in Manly till 8am. At 8am I drove to the beach with the Mal. After arriving at the beach and seeing that it was going off! I was a little sad. Knowing that I would now not have time to surf I was just going to take pictures of David and Andrew. When 8.15am rolled around and not hearing anything from them I gave Dave a ring to see where he was, only to find out he was still in bed!!!

Anyway it was good to get down there and take pictures because I wouldn't have got up that early otherwise.

Kyle and Jackie O - 20-10-06

The Kyle and Jackie O show came to Manly wharf this morning so I thought I would ride my bike down and get some pictures. The 6 remaining Australian Idols made an appearance as well.
