The other side

A new night, different location, similar shots. That's what's up next for your viewing pleasure, more pictures of Sydney in all her glory.

Once again Poompy and I went for a little drive to get some night time shots. This time we actually went into the city. The plan was to go to the Botanical Gardens and see if we could get some nice pictures.

Things didn't quite go as planned. For one thing Poompy couldn't drive through the city to save his life, we ended up going the wrong way even after good instruction by me. :) After getting to the general area that we wanted to be at we had to find a park...sounds easy but it wasn't, took us about 10-15min. Poompys mood was getting bad and real quick. Finally we manage to find a spot, so the fun was about to begin.

With about a 5min walk to the Botanical Gardens we came across some Aussie landmark, the name alludes, :) anyway the picture below.

After a few pictures of this thing we found out that the Botanical Gardens were only open till 4pm, Bummer. Poompys mood changed for the worse once again, threatening to break the gates down with his bare hands. Thankfully my smooth talking worked wonders and he calmed down. So with the Gardens idea out the window we were left with getting more shots of the city.

After this shot Poompy was done and wanted to go home. Some more smooth talking and we were on our way to Hyde park.
