South Manly-27-07-06

Thursday was the peak of some nice North East swell. NE swell is very rare in winter. Almost every beach in Sydney lights up. I wasn't up for a pounding during my lunch break so I took some photos.

Even though there was only 3 people out there was still drop-ins!!

Rainbow Lorikeet's

I went exploring again on my lunch break on Monday and found some Rainbow Lorikeet's devouring a poor little tree's sweet nectar.

Pumping Manly

Last Thursday I went to Manly on my lunch break to take some surfing photos. It was damn cold just standing on the beach. More people were getting worked then actually surfing, I'm glad I was just observing :)

Busy Bee as Busy as me!

It was that time again....lunch time....I exploded out the door to get my hands on some more juicy pictures. Although I didn't really end up taking many shots I found a couple of bees working over some flowers so I just had to shoot them. Cute little guys there were.

Sunday Sunset

I wasn't going to take photos on Sunday night but I'm sure glad I did. I just went out the front and waited around for a bit. It was impressive to watch.

Average Curly - 09-06-07

Instead of going for a surf I took some pictures. It was pretty crap at curly, drop-ins almost every wave so I didn't mind. All of the shots are from the north end around 3pm on Sunday.

Riding the nose on a shortboard!

This one hit me hard

Now I'm not one to cry but when my mum told me the bad news that Sooty the family cat had been hit by a car and killed I just couldn't stop my self. I felt like a girl...but man I loved that cat. He used to just go to sleep on my chest for hours, so happy.

So I though I would post some pictures that I had taken over the years. I could never get a good picture of him so I have put up some I like. RIP Sooty.

Mum provided the picture below.

Im out of title ideas....

So while Poompy was playing with himself....err.....I mean his new camera on Saturday, I went bush, to try to capture some waterfall action. I went to the Oxford Falls area where I knew one was because I had been there about 15 years ago. It was a bright sunny day and I wanted a long shutter time so I had to up the aperture to the max. Pretty average shot but it was worth doing.

Then I went to the parents place to say hi and get some pictures of the family cats.
