The Botanical Gardens

Saturday marked my return to the Botanical Gardens. This time I was going to get in, thankfully it was before 4pm. It was a perfect winters day, not many clouds in the sky and not to cold. The trip started out with a 30 minute ferry ride from Manly to Circular Quay. On the way I grabbed a shot of the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and a sick ass boat.

The crazy busker below was standing on a bike which was welded to a huge pole. He was trying to get the crowd interested but his attempt was lame.

Eventually he started to juggle an apple, a machete and a stick with one end on fire. When he caught the apple he would take a bite. Interesting for about 5 seconds.

After moving on another shot of the Opera House was acquired.

After entering the botanical gardens I was less than impressed. I was thinking there would be lots of flowers and general good stuff to take photos of, but there wasn't really.

Walking along one of the many paths, I liked the look of the skyscrapers in the background.

On the way back the sun was setting so I had to grab this shot, even though its been done to death.

So....the botanical gardens wasn't what I imagined it to be but I didn't venture all the way through it. Im hoping there is more that was missed which can be for next time.
